Summary

The structure of the thesis: Introduction, 4 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography from 312 titles, 184 pages basic texts, 22 annexes. The results obtained are reflected in 16 scientific articles.

Field of study and objectives of research. The essential analysis of social relational regulations according penitentiary and postpenitentiary resocialization of persons subjected to punishment by imprisonment. The main objectives consists in analyzing the situation in the field and publications of thesis topic, reviewing general notions on penitentiary and post-penitentiary re-socialization of persons subjected to punishment by imprisonment, historical evolution of these relationships and their regulation and a comparative study of offenders re-socialization, clarifying issues related to the achievement of rehabilitation measures of prisoners and the insurance of the process of re-socialization persons subjected to punishment by imprisonment.

Scientific novelty and originality. The thesis presents the first complex research from Moldova on the topic of offenders’ re-socialization. Both, novelty and originality of the scientific work is to formulate theoretical and practical conclusions, to advance proposed regulations resulting from logical investigations, contributing to doctrine enrichment, to improve the legislation in force, making it more compatible and logical mingled with existing national and international regulations.

Theoretical and application significance. The theoretical importance of the research work lies in a complex investigation of theoretical, legal and organizational base of the offenders’ re-socialization. The results will help to develop the national legal doctrine, serving as an impetus for increasing attention to problems of resocialization prisoners and to diversify studies in the field. Essential ideas of research can help to develop new means, methods and ways of social rehabilitation of convicts.

Implementing of scientific research. Conclusions and recommendation contained the scientific work can be used to improve the legislation, its application to practice, and to optimize the organization and increasing efficiency of state bodies meant to contribute to re-socialization persons subjected to punishment by imprisonment. Practical results obtained can be used in instructive educational process within educational institutions, and by practicing professionals involved in the process of re-socialization of prisoners.
