Summary

The thesis consists of introduction, 4 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 221 references, 2 annexes, 114 pages of basic text, 28 figures, 15 tables. The obtained results are published in 22 scientific papers.

The aim is the study of physiologo-biochemical properties of green microalga Dunaliella salina CNMN-AV-01 at the cultivation on the new nutritive medium elaborated on the base of culture liquid of Spirulina platensis.

Objects: study of cultural, morpho-physiological and biochemical properties of dunaliella cultivated on culture liquid of spirulina, evaluation of chemical and organic content of the culture liquid of spirulina in order to optimize its chemical content to increase the quality and quantity of dunaliella biomass, elaboration of procedures of Dunaliella cultivation in the closed cycle.

Scientific novelty and originality: It was demonstrated first the profitableness of utilization of culture liquid of spirulina for Dunaliella cultivation. It was elucidated the cultivation conditions that stimulating productivity and biochemical content of dunaliella grown on nutritive medium elaborated in the base of culture liquid of spirulina.

Theoretical value: Morphological and biochemical parameters of dunaliella’s growth on nutritive medium, elaborated on base of culture liquid of spirulina, have been established. The results have demonstrated highly adaptive nature of green microalga D. salina to abiotic factors of environment, especially quantitative reduction of the carboanhydrase in response to excess HCO3 - ions into the culture medium.

Application value: It was realized the elaboration of a new culture medium on base of culture liquid of spirulina. New 3 procedures for dunaliella’s biomass obtaining with increased content of carotenoids and glycerol at the cultivation with addition of some coordinative compounds of Zn (II), Fe (III) and Cr (III) as stimulators have been elaborated. New 2 procedures of obtaining of curative preparations on the base of culture liquid of Spirulina and Dunaliella have been elaborated and their long-term valorification in dermatology and dentistry has been established.

Implementation of scientific results. The procedure of dunaliella’s cultivating on nutritive medium elaborated in base of culture liquid of spirulina have been implemented at the factory ,,Ficotehfarm” (Act of implementation Nr. 01/11 of 4.12.2008).
