The thesis contains: an introduction, four chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography, containing 220 sources, 8 annexes, 150 pages of the main text, 63 figures and 31 tables. The results are published in 27 scientific works, including 2 patents the RM.
Area of study is the production of fuels from alternative sources.
The purpose and main objectives of research are the theoretical analysis and experimental study of the production process of high quality oil from rapeseed; research of technological parameters of the equipment and improvement of production technology of rapeseed oil; study the process of obtaining of biofuel for diesel engines from rapeseed oil and determining its optimal parameters as initial data for designing small-scale plants for biodiesel.
The most significant results that characterize the scientific novelty, are to clarify the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of the rape grown in RM, the determination of the qualitative indicators of rapeseed oil and their dependence on the modes of operation of the equipment for its production, determining the optimal parameters of his work, determination of the kinetic regularity re-etherification reaction of rapeseed oil with methanol in the presence of a catalyst, identifying quality indicators of biodiesel and their mathematical dependence on the parameters of the process. Novelty and originality of the technical solutions developed by small-scale installation for the production of biodiesel is confirmed by a patent for the invention of RM.
The theoretical significance and originality of the dissertation research is that its findings and proposals on a number of issues of producing rapeseed oil to the production and use of biodiesel can be useful for the further development of these industries in the country.
The solving important scientific problems. The results obtained in the dissertation, decided to research the problem of improving the process of production of rapeseed oil and get it out of biofuel for diesel engines.
The introduction of scientific results achieved by testing and introduction of "cold" pressing technology for rapeseed at enterprises in Moldova and abroad. The developed technical regulations of biodiesel production were tested at designed and manufactured small-scale installation in the laboratory for testing of biodiesel equipment JSC Alimentarmash (Kishinev). Produced in the installation biodiesel has been tested at the Research Institute “MASMA” (Kiev) and quality indicators meet the requirements EN 14214:2003.
