The thesis issued based on more than 60 published scientific papers from a total of about 200 available.
The structure of the paper includes an introduction, five chapters, general conclusions and recommendations and a bibliography.
Domain of research: 09.00.13. social philosophy, philosophical anthropology and philosophy of culture.
Goal and objectives of the paper:
envisage studying the contemporary society, monitoring the process of transformation of part in a whole (the society that resulted from implosion of the soviet mega society), analyzing the components of the social conflict and the opportunities for overcoming division of the society in development, identifying the conciliatory message through the social conflict settlement and particularities of its impact related to a social internationalized conflict, particularly addressing the conflict from the left bank of the Nistru River that “transistorized” over time the entire Moldovan society.Novelty and originality of the paper. The novelty of the obtained results consists in development of the definition of synthesis of the concepts „contemporary society”, „social conflict”, „conciliation” and „society in development” through an applicative aspect, contributing to solving a problem of major concern: definition of the type of society, within which the social conflict can be settled and not solved and that assure its perpetuation on world civilization, being approached at the level of its structure and agents, accompanied with multidimensional manifestations, on horizontal and vertical levels.
Essentially new outcomes obtained as a result of developed investigations contributed to establishing in the Republic of Moldova of a new scientific direction within the field of Social Philosophy, namely the Contemporary Society between Conciliation and Conflict, having as a basis the analysis of processes, structure and context that in their entirety determined the reconstruction of society, within which the conflict is a driving force, assuring the change of the conflict’s character from one internal into an internationalized one, in dependence from the statute of the human community.
Theoretical significance: development and presentation of the theoretical-methodological framework that is complex and fundamentally interdisciplinary under the methodological aspect and multidisciplinary under the analytical-epistemological aspect of the scientific exploration of the society between the conflict and conciliation, addressed through a disciplinary-scientific approach and as a field of action for the actors examined in their complexity and diversity. The conceptual framework developed based on available publications reflects better the tendencies of the scientific postpositivist discourse and contemporary realities. Respectively, the definitions of the concepts „contemporary society”, „society in development” and „social conflict” were developed; the operational character of such categories as „similarities/differences/particularities”, „conciliation”, „communication”, „identity”, „societal values” and „multiculturalism” were sustained, aiming at defining the type of the society and delineating the natural social conflict from an artificial one or the social conflict from a social internationalized one. Practical value of the paper: It serves as methodological support in approaching society within the framework of globalization and deepening the EU aspirations of the Republic of Moldova, presents taxonomy of the social conflict, highlights the necessary delimitations between the social conflict and internationalized conflict and, finally, serves for development of the university and post-university courses (master and doctoral studies).
Implementation of the scientific results: The paper was developed within the Sector of
Philosophy of the Institute for European Integration and Political Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of
Moldova and was examined and supported at the meeting of the Sector and the meetings of the Scientific
Specialized Seminars of the Institute for European Integration and Political Sciences of the Academy of
Sciences of Moldova and of the State University of Moldova. The undertaken research was crystallized in
more than 60 scientific papers, including 7 monographs and 7 articles published in international journals,
which were presented, discussed and approved at 57 scientific events, national and international.
