Summary

The research is deducated to the problems of health protection of pupils in the current conditions of radical reconstruction of the system of education, social-economic situation in the country, psychoemotional exertion of the rising generation in family and social groups. New data of the health state of pupils for a long period of time are presented in the thesis on the example of such a large administration region as Chisinau. The parameters of physical development, condition of cardiovascular system, psychoemotional sphere and level of pupils ’ adaptation to current life and education conditions are estimated in the research. The received data allowed toreveal the degree of deviation from the optimal level of body functioning in pupils of all main age groups and to substantantiate a complex of preventive measures.

The epidemiologic study of the morbidity level of pupils in five main administrative sectors of Chisinau was carried out for the first time. The study was based on the results of medical examinations, incidence of diseases and distribution of pupils into health groups in accordance to the incidence of pupils ’ visiting a doctor and the distribution of pupils into health groups. Objective laws of the change of these indices were established. Prevalent classes of diseases and the rinds of diseases forming them were revealed. The author estimated quantitatively the probability of further changes of the indices characterizing the state of health of a pupil, provided prognostic mathematic models to use them in the work of the education system bodies, municipal bodies and health service organs for prophylaxis.

The systemic approach, big volume, detailed and profound analysis of the obtained data allowed to elaborate a complex of required measures to make the rising generation healthier and to safe its health in the current conditions.
