Field of study: Romanian Literature

The aim of the work: consist in analizing the Mircea Eliade’s prose of psychoanalytic perspective to capitalize on its hidden meanings, the specific modalities of linking characters with the time and space in which they operate and that they transcend to retrieve a primordial fullness.

The objectives of the investigation:


The scientific novelty and originality of the work lies in developing a new model of literary analysis focused on Jungian psychoanalytic theory anima and animus and its aplication in re-interpretation of the literary work of Mircea Eliade.

The important solved scientific problem consist in critical reevaluation of the literary work of Mircea Eliade from a Jungian psychoanalytic theory perspective in conjunction with hermeneutics of Eliade's myth, resulting with the reveal of some unique views on the descovering the sacred in the depths of the psyche of a character, and elimination of the some methological deficiences novel approach.

Theoretical and practical importance is to develop a model of hermeneutics of spiritual and psychological meanings of Eliade’s character, images and symbols in literary works. Implementation of scientific outcomes: The outcomes of the thesis were implemented in developing articles and scientific communications presented at national and international conferences.
