Summary

The aim of the dissertation is the development of the theoretical and methodological bases of formation of the organizational culture as one of the most important factors of increasing the management efficiency in the conditions of the social and economic reforms carried out in the Republic of Moldova at present.

This dissertation is dedicated to studying the primary problems of this period of restructuring. As different spheres of the public life have been completely transformed, there has appeared an objective need for developing the theoretical base for the forms of the organizational culture, which becomes an important feature of the social management system.

The notion of “organizational culture” is regarded as the activity of individuals who are included in a special type of a social group - the organization, and it is inseparable from the practice of managing the social processes in all their diversities. It is depicted the essence of the organizational culture phenomenon and it is given a founded opposition to the utilitarian, pragmatic and egocentric type by the humanistic, historically perspective method of the organizational culture.

To make the theoretical conclusions more concrete it has been carried out the experimental investigation of the specific features and characteristics of the organizational culture at four enterprises of the Republic of Moldova and was made the comparative analysis of them. The cultural reality is a complex and contradictory entity of cultures of different type, that is why, the author has pointed out the main types of organizational cultures. It is also founded the fact that the organizational culture is dealt with a historically defined type of culture, characteristic for the society.

In this dissertation there are given and systemized the views and positions of foreign and national scientists during the analysis of which, there were defined the methodological bases for the organizational culture analysis as management category and its importance for the formation of a new type of organizational culture of up-to-date Moldovan firms. It is also developed the methodology of formation of the organizational culture. It is characterized and founded a number of functions of the organizational culture. It is described the system of changes of the organizational culture.
