Structure of the dissertation. The work consists of annotations, introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 260 titles, 4 appendix, 2 figures, 3 tabels, 2 schemes, basic text on 148 pages. The results of the investigation were presented in 19 scientific publications. Research field: 612.01 – Ethnology.
Goal of the thesis: is to analyze and explain the people – nature relationship through the concept of the rural cultural landscape which comprise the ethnographic aspect, that is confirmed by the evolution of the components of material and spiritual culture.
Objectives of the thesis: analyze of the istoriography of the theme researched; define and analyze the concept of rural cultural landscape; determination of the interdisciplinary methodological aspects of the research; explanation of the mutual impact between the natural environment and the components of material and spiritual culture of the rural landscape; realize of the classification of rural cultural landscape; analysis of the current problems of rural areas, by identifying the elements of dystopia and utopia; to specify the role of the scientific, local community, and legislative framework, in recognition and safeguarding of rural landscapes.
Solution of the scientific problem is to determine the mutual impact between natural environment and the forms of civilization and culture on the rural landscape at the end of the 19th – beginning of the 21th centuries, in fact led to explain the concept of rural cultural landscape between Prut and Nistru river, in order to establish solutions for the development, promotion and support of rural space in accordance with the concept of sustainable development.
Scientific innovation and originality. The thesis is a first attempt to approach and explain of the rural cultural landscape concept, using synchronously the scientific terminology proposed by the disciplines and those submitted by UNESCO. The investigated topic is a new priority direction in research at the national and international level. In the thesis is analyze and explain the mutual impact between natural environment and the cultural organization and functioning of rural space; they are determined, classified and caracterized the types of rural cultural landscapes; it analyzes the evolution of rural landscapes, understood as a result of geographical, historical, economical, political conjunctures, and of the ethnocultural transformation models.
The theoretical significance: consists in elaboration of such a study by explanation and analysis of the adaptation of community to the natural conditions through material forms and spirituals expressions. Based on this study draw up new research directions of rural space.
Applicative value: The study can be used for multidisciplinary teaching purposes, a deductive and informative base for implementation and the development of legislation on cultural landscapes, platform for the promotion of rural tourism.
Implementation of the results. The study can be impliment as theoretical support for university courses in ethnology, teaching support in secondary education, base for legislative projects and tourism sphere.
