Summary

The thesis it is presented on 139 pages of typed text and contains introduction, 4 chapters, synthesis results, conclusions and practical recommendations. Bibliographic index quotes 177 published sources. It is illustrated with 32 tables, 16 diagrams, 3 appendices. The results of the thesis were published in 11 scientific works, 2 patents.

Aim of study: evaluation of the risk factors, clinical and paraclinical particularities of cardiac autonomic neuropathy in type 1 diabetes.

Objectives: clinical evaluation of CAN; identifying risk factors and clinical predictors of cardiac autonomic neuropathy; estimate the impact of CAN on heart rate variability parameters; to elucidate the relationship between metabolic parameters and the marker of oxidative stress in cardiac autonomic neuropathy; evaluation of functional changes in left ventricle in CAN.

The scientific novelty and originality. For the first time in Moldova were conducted scientific research aimed at assessing the clinical and paraclinical particularities of cardiac autonomic neuropathy by assessing metabolic changes, oxidative stress, its methods of diagnosis and association with other chronic microvascular complications of type 1 diabetes mellitus.

The important scientific problem solved in the thesis: is to elucidate the clinical and paraclinical aspects, estimate the risk factors and clinical predictors depending on the cardiac autonomic neuropathy severity and assess the effectiveness of diagnostic methods of CAN, which will contribute to early diagnosis of CAN to improve the life quality of people with T1DM and CAN.

The theoretical importance: Scientific study results have significant practical value, serving as the basis for screening and early diagnosis of cardiac autonomic neuropathy and argued the need to improve glycemic control, lifestyle optimization and intervention on cardiovascular risk factors.

The applicable value of the work. The obtained results have argued the need to implement early screening, allows appearance prognostication, severity assessment and highlighting the clinical and evolution factors of cardiac autonomic neuropathy and the development of preventive measures at different stages of care. Practical implementation.

The research results were applied in educational process at the Department of Endocrinology of the State Medical and Pharmaceutical University “Nicolae Testemiţanu”, have been implemented in practical work of the Department of endocrinology of the .Republican Hospital and Advisory division of Republican Center of Medical Diagnosis.
