The thesis consists of an introduction, seven chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 139 titles, has 225 pages of the printed text, and contains 81 figures, 9 tables. The main results of the scientific investigation are published in 17 scientific papers.
Specialty: Construction materials, elements and edifices.
Objective: Increase of corrosion resistance of concrete of reinforced concrete tanks intended for storage of drinking and industrial waters and providing its additional protection with a polymer coating that has high adhesion and resistance to cracking, low absorption and permeability for liquids and which do not affect the quality of drinking water.
Tasks: Research the extent and characteristics of corrosive destruction of concrete tanks under the action of drinking and industrial waters; Development of a composite material for the repair of destroyed concrete of reservoirs, which has a low porosity and permeability for liquids; Theoretical justification and choice of the polymer coating system for the protection of concrete with high adhesion to concrete, chemical resistance, high crack resistance, low permeability, which meets all the sanitary and hygienic requirements for direct contact with drinking water; Optimization of the compositions of varnishes and paints for polymer coating and the study of their technological properties; development of technology for performing anticorrosive concrete protection of reservoirs intended for storage of drinking and industrial waters.
Novelty and scientific originality: 1 A new material for the repair of destroyed concrete of reinforced concrete tanks intended for storage of drinking and industrial waters has been developed; 2 A polymer coating system for insulation and protection against corrosion of the internal surfaces of reinforced concrete tanks for storage of drinking and industrial waters has been developed; 3 Theoretical and experimental information, which can be used for the isolation and corrosion protection of other reinforced concrete structures operated in other aggressive conditions (basins, bridges, tunnels, dams, etc.) has been accumulated.
Scientific problem: development of technology for the preparation of paints and varnishes, dry mixes and technology for the implementation of the anticorrosive protection of concrete structures for the storage of drinking and industrial waters.
Practical importance: Composite material and polymer coating will provide reliable anticorrosive protection and waterproofing of concrete tanks for storage of drinking and industrial waters.
There elaborated: CP E.04.01-2001 Protection against environmental actions. Instructions for the execution of the waterproofing and anticorrosive protection with varnishes and paints of the concrete interior surfaces of tanks for storage of drinking and industrial waters; CP E.04.03-2005 Protection against environmental actions. Corrosion protection of buildings and installations; CP E.04.04-2005 Protection against environmental actions. Execution of insulation, protection and finishing works in constructions; Technical Approval on a composite material for waterproofing and repairing destroyed concrete Nr. 02/04-046:2014, approved by the Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions of the Republic of Moldova on October 22, 2014.
