The thesis contains129 pages of main text, introduction, 4 chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 230 titles, 6 appendixes, 39 tables, 54 figures. The results are published in 36 scientific works.

Field of study: biological sciences.

Aim of research: Elaboration of production technology and improvement of the technological processes of the preparation on the basis of baculoviruses in the H. cunea control Objectives: Isolation and identification of viruses strains for H.cunea control; improvement of biotechnological procedures of the biomass production, active against H. cunea; determination of relations between baculoviruses (VPN and VG) and the insect-host for H. cunea larvae mass rearing; creation of the mechanisms causing the virus diseases outbreaks; determination the baculoviruses potential both under natural and artificial conditions.

Scientific novelty and originality: For the first time in the Republic of Moldova, three of active new viruses strains were indentificated, isolated and characterized. The technological procedures for production and the viral products application were optimized and elaboration of the method of epizootic transmission of baculoviruses, optimized processes for the production and use of viruses, the growth of larvae on a new artificial diet and the elaboration of the technological elements of applying the baculoviral preparation in the integrated systems of protection of agricultural, forestry and decorative plants ensuring a biological eficiency of 91,8%. In order to reduce H. cunea population density by utilizing a new ingredient (5% of active carbon). The protocol for application of the viruses preparation against H. cunea control was elaborated. The indentificated 124 plant species as a trophic in the laboratory condition. The optimal term for preservation in the vacuum bags of larvae, infected with baculoviruses was established.

The important scientific problem solved in the respective domain consists in scientific substantiation of the baculoviruses (VPN is VG) capacities of the pest H. cunea to reproduce in the cells of the Fall Webworm which led to the elaboration and improvement of the technology of production and application of the new strains of baculoviruses and allowed to increase the biological efficiency of the viruses preparation and to elaborate the strategy for its application.

Theoretical significance: The results obtained are the basis for the elaboration of the technology for producing of the new biopreparation which possesses a strategy for preventing of H. сunea spreading thanks to horizontal and vertical transmission of the pathogen serving as specific filters and do not infect other insects species.

Aplication value of the work: It consist in improvement of producing and application the viral preparation Virin-ABB-3. Increased preparation quality contributes to its efficacy and allows to obtain ecologic pure products and to use it in the integrated systems for plant protection.

Implementation of scientific results: The results of the scientific researches were implemented in the "Codrii" scientific reserve, Lozova com., Straseni district, the peasant farm "Oleg Timcu" s. Petrunia, the Glodeni district on the 16 ha area.
