Summary

The work investigates from the new concept – Bioethics – the contemporary moral crisis as the outcome of technological and scientific progress. It studies the ethical philosophic issues that result from the utilitarian consumption character of the modern society, when the science and technique can not foresee anymore the effects in time of its prolific discoveries. The Bioethics proposes the solution for contemporary the anthropoecologic crisis having the as final core surviving of the living on the Earth.

In the Introduction are argued the actuality of the topic, the extend of problem’s research, are defined the goal and objectives of the work and are expressed the methodological support, the novelty of the investigation, as well as the theoretical and applicable value of it.

In the first chapter it is being proved that the extremist scientific as well as non-scientific concepts aggravate more the actual moral crisis. It is also offered a bioethical vision of the possible prejudices and dangers of the incorrect application of the scientific performances. And it also investigates the coordination of the cognitive values with the other human values by reviewing the process of valuation of the cognitive practice and by elaborating a unique system of value orientation based on the balance of the interests of the humanity.

In the second chapter it is asserted that the ethics of the previous centuries can not face the contemporary requirements. The results of technological scientific progress create baffling issues unimaginable, and thus, unforeseen before. The bioethical approach manifests itself as the most appropriate solution to the actual moral value crisis. The Bioethics presents itself as proper science having all needed components and structures for this nomination.

A special place takes the study of biomedical sciences progress that modifies essentially the anthropologic world, working on the more improvement of it, but at the same time approaching it the more to self-destructions. The moral and philosophical problems from this domain confirm the moral crisis within scientists’ circles and the contemporary society. This fast is widely described in the third chapter of the work where is disclosed the bioethical conception of promoting the respect for the human as individuality right from the conception up to the death.

By the final of the work a synthesis is made that as the impossibility to forecast the results of scientific researches as the neutral attitude of state authorities in regards of expansion of dangerous technologies have led to the arise of Bioethics. In Conclusion it asserted that only providing respect for biological diversity and autonomy, reverence for the life in any manifestation, it is possible to balance the quantitative development of the science and technology and the quality of the human existence, offering to the humanity a chance to survive.
