Summary

The aim of particular research was predefined with the necessity of innovative reference points in structural development of mechanisms and their realisation within developing countries, in particular in the Rep. of Moldova, in the context of gradual impact of Globalization processes, proposing the tools for development of concrete recommendations targeting the enhancement of national competitiveness.

Hence, the research has covered several relevant major economic camps, including the impact of Globalisation on the development of global economics generally and of the developing countries in particular; the forms of interaction of national and supra-national adjustment policy under the impact of gradual internationalisation and integration processes with the emphasis on the aspects of structural development; methodological approaches towards the analysis of structural brunches and respective impact on economic growth and competitiveness of the national economies; conformity and tendencies within the structural development of Global economics; as well as the international experience of structural reform and the creation of mechanisms for innovative development.

Following elements of the research are of particular conceptual significance: argumentation of the thesis regarding the need for reform of structural (branch) priorities in the developing countries in favour of innovation, which reflects the trajectory (vector structure) of global structural development; identification of modern principles in the structural policy oriented towards IT and innovation; general conclusion by means of international comparative analysis of global experience in creation of models for innovative growth and the results of structural branches reform in several countries; substantiation of the logical-structural matrix of the Concept for the New Structural Development (CESD), as the concept of transition to economics targeting innovation in the developing countries, and in the Rep. of Moldova in particular, under the impact of Globalization.

The aggregate of tasks resolved in this dissertation represents both conceptual and practical conclusive stance concerning multi-angular problem of global structural transformations with an emphasis on the national components, aimed at reconnaissance of the ways to increase competitiveness of the national economies in context of Globalization.

Basing on results of the research, the author proposed several recommendations reflecting the new vector of global structural development in condition of gradual processes of Globalisation, which may be perceived as the most promising regarding the enhancement of national level of competitiveness for the countries with incomplete market structures, and for Moldova in particular.

Practical significance of the work is connected to the possibility of actual practical implementation of the theoretical apparatus, models and recommendations proposed for the correction in tendencies of structural development and the creation of competitive innovation-oriented economy in the countries with vulnerable market structures, and in Moldova.

Theoretical conclusion, as well as practical tools and recommendations were used in the elaboration of several state programmes. Therefore, their implementation is practically possible in the countries with economics-in-transition and incomplete market structures. Materials of the study are and may be used for subsequent methodical recommendations in process of educational training of professionals with economic profile.
