Summary

During the years of communist totalitarian ideology the official governement manifests the tendency not to permit to the researchers to do reference to the ethno-folkloristic materials from Basarabia of period between wars. The present work tries to complete this void to examine a great volume of materials that are about the popular creation.

An important and difficult task to accomplish, but necessary to the study which means the critic edition and reedition of valuable works elaborated in 1918–1940 years. It is taking in view the collected folkloric texts and the studies signed by Gh. Madan, I. Buzdugan, O. Constantinescu and others, some of them are found in the cabinet of certain publishing houses waiting to be print. All these, without doubt, will contribute to the facilitation of folkloristic researches.

The reviews and the newspapers of time have published and them a great volume of ethno-folkloristic materials. We wxpress the opinion that this must be collected in a special article that will be of a great use and interest as for researchers, that for all lovers of national popular thesaurus. We consider that the edition of the articles of this kind will control a visible lacuna from the field of Romanian folkloristic science.

By this work it tries to prove that the folkloric and ethnographic materials, as well as the manner of investigation fallowed in the period of 1918–1940 years merit to be studied, including them in the scientific circuit.

The results of researches can be used in the university courses, at the courses of popular creation, at the lessons of literature and folklore in lyceums, at the elaboration of studies of ethnology and history of popular culture, of Romanian civilization and others.
