The evolution of Moldova Principality Church in the second half of the XVIIIth - the beginning of the XIXth centuries represents one of the main subjects of the present study. The present work includes, a large investigation of a series of problems connected with the evolution of the Moldovan Church as would be the relations between Church and State; the measure of church order realised by the phanariots gospodars; the role and the place of Moldavian hierarchs: the selection and the resignation of metropolitan bishops and bishops; the ecclesiastical administration during the Russian- Turkish and Russian-Austrian-Turkish wars from the second half of XVIIIth – the beginning of XIXth centuries; and the relations between Church and monastic establishments from Ottoman Empire.

After selections, a deeply study and analyse of historiographic and documentary material in the present research were revised some explanations and completions with reference at the role and place of the Church from Moldova Principality as part of society. Also were realised some corrections At the recognized opinions in historiography about the territorial jurisdiction; the metropolitan bishops functions. Another aspect which was analysed is about the selections and demission of Moldavian hierarchs a fact which allowed to identify some practices and procedures used in great detail in Moldova.

Thus, after a deeply and attentively analyse of documentary material, we succeeded to find some cases of interference both from Russia side, and Habsburg Empire in the ecclesiastical affairs of Moldova. Mixture, which had as consequence the introduction of some unknown institutions previously inside of Moldavian ecclesiastical administrative system.

For understanding better the position which own the Moldavian Church as part of the Orthodox and Christian world, we paid attention particularly at the problem of the Church connections from Moldova Principality with ecclesiastical canters from Ottoman Empire. At the same time, was realised a research concerning the contribution of the Romanian society especially from Moldova at the upholding of the monastic places as those from Athos and other regions from the Orthodox Near East.

The present study bring new dates, details concerning the place and role of Moldavian Church on internal and international plan; the period is characterised by the finalization of clearly character which had the Church from Moldova Principality in the whole Orthodox space. Especial research of this question, permit us to conclude that during this time was established the ideological bases of Moldavian Church self government in relation with Ecumenical Patriarchy.
