The given thesis is dedicated to the research of the role of investment management in triggering innovation and implementation, which ultimately leads to increased competitiveness of the fence at different levels of economic activity.
Based on this goal the essence and investment management stages were materialized, the summary of views on economic competitiveness were made, the innovational process and performance indicators are being studied. The interdependence of these elements has also been studied.
In the practical part of this work one of the most dynamic branches of the economy is being investigated, which is telecommunications. Here are analyzed the main components of the branch, the indicators that characterize play performance are described, trends in the international and local are indentified. Here is also made a comparative study of development of various branches of national economy. The effort of investment for the major components of the telecommunications sector is estimated.
A particular attention is paid to the investment process at national and branch level. In the work is extensively analyzed the investment activity of an operator leading telecommunications market. On the base of an empirical material the existence of strong correlation between investment and financial performance is proved. It makes a forecast on the evolution of financial results, the lines and projected investment effects are drown.
In the transport sector a development data identifies possible directions of activity for building knowledge-based society and access to information.
The practical importance of this thesis consists in that the managers of Moldova can use this thesis and its proposed directions as a theoretical and methodological support for improving the professional knowledge and improve investment management.
