The dissertation was dedicated to occupational hygiene of farm–hands in the agriculture. The subjects of investigation consist in estimation particularities demographic of the farm–hands in the agriculture, the access of medical care; studies and evaluation of the health’s indices of the farm–hands in the farming; studies and hygiene evaluation of particularities of occupational habitat; generalization of interrelations between state of health and risk factors; elaboration of preventive arrangements.

The obtained results are corresponding of new direction of scientific investigation in occupational hygiene, interrelations between state of health and risk factor. Was determinate the specific particularities of socio-demographic structure of the farm-hands, occupational conditions, mode of living, state of health, medical care. The clinico-hygienic investigation for the first time have determinate chronic diseases of farmers, correlation score between conditions of work, demography, mode of living and the morbidity’s structure. The degree of risk was determinate for farm-hands in depend of determined factors.

The results of the present investigations are remarkable for theoretical meaning and the foundations of occupational hygiene, which permit to discover the scientifico-theoretical prerequisites for correlation between morbidity of farm-hands and the factors of occupational conditions, that permit to appreciate the morbidity’s risk of members rural economy. Were fined the effective and specific prerequisites and were elaborated the complex of preventive arrangements. The concluding material can be used for specialists of the Center for Public Health as a methodical guidance, for the state surveillance of the health of the farm-hands. There were developed and introduced the guide book for mayors: “How can be provided for sanitary-epidemiological prosperity of population” (2005); the practical guidance “ The sanitary aspect of work’s conditions and state of health of the private rural economy” (2006); sanitary passport of rural economy and others.
