Summary

The thesis is composed of 6 chapters, one paragraph with conclusions, bibliography and appendix and contains 160 pages, 28 tables, 50 figures, 166 formulas and 114 bibliographic references. Obtained results are published in 15 scientific papers.

The thesis concerns to the area of renewable energy sources development, particularly of solar radiation. Its objectives are the development of methods allowing analysis and calculation of the modern solar energy installations, as well as the elaboration of methods giving the possibility to determine the competitiveness of solar installations in conditions of Republic of Moldova.

Solar radiation characteristics values in dynamics necessary for dimensions choice and technical-economic calculation of installations destined for solar energy use in condition of Republic of Moldova were obtained. Mathematical model of solar collectors with air with matrix absorber formed from net layers was elaborated on which basis their optimal constructive characteristic features were established. A conclusion was made that the matrix absorbers composed from set of net layers from the optical point of view represents a medium where Bouguer-Lambert-Beer law in discrete form is not followed. The mathematic models and their solution methods can be used to elaborate new constructions of advanced solar collectors with air, which represents the completion and development of solar radiation collectors’ theory. Mathematic model for the pair “air solar collector - conditioning split-installation” in heat pump regime was elaborated, based on which the recommendations for solar collectors for such pairs scaling were obtained. The results of studies concerning solar-wind hybrid power installations can be used to discover the cases of their applicability in practice for separate customers located at some distance from the electrical networks.

Obtained results were used in the estimation of solar energy potential and in the elaboration of set of chapters in 2 projects: “The strategy of renewable energy development in Republic of Moldova until 2010 and in perspective” and “National Program of renewable energy resources development for 2006-2010 years.”
