Structure of thesis: Introduction, 7 chapters, recommendations and general conclusions, bibliography from 350 titles, 8 annexes, 200 pages of basic text, 14 figures, 27 tables and 110 pictures. The obtained results are published in 58 scientific papers.
Purpose and objectives of the work.Purpose: Emphasizing taxonomic composition,establish bioecologic and corologic particularities of fallow synanthrope flora and vegetation of Republic of Moldova; elaboration of recommendations of structural-functional amelioration of agrarian and natural synantropizate ecosystems.
Objectives: Study of principal species and asosation of fallow synanthrope plants and drawing up cenotaxonomic summary of vegetation; establish distribution and ecosystemic belonging of studying synantrope plants; investigation of expantion rank and removing the revealed of invasive plants groups; establish useful fallow synanthrope plant groups; drawing up and classification of ecologo-floristic complexes; making evident secular dynamics and elaboration of practical recommendation of amelioration of degradation ecosistems.
Novelty and originality scientific. At first time has been making evident and characterized:
- 1. Taxonomic component of fallow synanthrope flora constituted from 618 species.
- 2. It has been identified 32 species, like new taxa for Republic flora; in the north-west basin of Black Sea were identified 4 new taxa.
- 3. Fitocenotic structure of fallow synanthrope vegetation formed from 62 associations and 1 vegetal subassociation (comprise in 5 class, 9 order and 22 alliance), majority of them are new phytocenotic taxa for studying territory, 5 association-new for North-West basin of Black Sea.
- 4. Predominant share of family taxa (Asteraceae, Brassicaceae, Poaceae), species wich consist 36,6 %.
- 5. Affinity of studying flora with flora subdesert areas of ancient Mediterranian region.
- 6.Ecologofloristic complexes of fallow synanthrope plants wich include 3 groups of complexes, 9 ecophytons, 4 ecobiogroups.
- 7. Dominant share of fallow synanthrope floristic diversity on degraded ecosystems.
- 8. Substantial share of species (189), genre (64) and families (7) adventiv, wich cause not only structural changes, but also quantitative-of xerophylization of local fallow synanthrope flora.
- 9. Secular dynamics of fallow synanthrope flora.
- 10. Adaptive allocation of studying plants by agrarian, ecosystems.
- 11. Dominant character of annual and biannual (over 60%) agrarian ecosystems.
Theoretical significance: Results obtained represent a scientific source for drawing up and editing of monographs domain, determinatives and manuals, for further deepening of fundamental investigation from that field.
Applied value of work: Recommendation made are practical interest for development counter measure of fallow synanthrope plants, ecological reconstruction of deteriorated ecosystems, for drawing up of university and undergraduate training programs for development national and international projects wich related to biological security.
Implementation of scientific results: Scientific results were implemented in capital scientific work and teaching “Atlas Florae Europae” vv. 9-14 (Helsinki, 1991-2007); „Растительный мир Молдавии”, mm. 2-5 (1986-1989); „Определитель высших растуний Молдавской ССР ” (1986); Vegetaţia Republicii Moldova (1995); Botanica cu bazele Ecologiei (1997); „Determinator de plante din flora R.M.” (2007); „Flora şi vegetaţia din Valea Prutului” (Iaşi, 2002); „Flora Basarabiei” (vv. 2-6, in process of edition) et al.
