Domain investigation and thesis objectives. The scope of this work is the philosophy of writing and the ontological and gnoseological aspects of it. This thesis is to: determine the structure of the category of writing through phenomenological and ontological approach; the analysis of forms of writing in terms of their philosophical substratum; generalization and highlight of the writing representations as the expression and the factor of consciousness, and as reflection over the processuality of existence; analysis of writing connections with Order, Time and Space; highlighting of the progress and status of writing vectors in the context of the Internet era and the transition from Information Society to Knowledge Society.

Novelty and scientific originality. This dissertation is the first try in our country to make an approach to writing under ontological and gnoseological aspects. The innovations related to this are to achieve extensive generalization reflections on writing of the great philosophers of the world, from antiquity to present; presenting for the first time of the whole paradigm and category of writing and a redefinition of it by creating the concept of over-ordonated system of grafemic signifiers; explicit thematization of writing decisive role in the genesis of European philosophy, establishing and explaining of the premises of writing appearance in primordiality; description and explanation of the philosophical functions of each form of writing; the connection of writing with the universe existence etc.

Theoretical significance and applied value of the work. Theoretical significance of the dissertation is based primarily on the concept of over-ordonated system of grafemic signifiers, which, initially is as a new definition of writing, could evolve to become a new philosophical and scientific method. As for applicative aspect, the dissertation contains ideas and recommendations that may contribute to improving the education system by providing new mental evaluation possibilities, to philosophical education of the young generation and to development of philosophy of mind.
