In the Dissertation, the result of research in the life style of population
of the Republic of Moldova are presented, as well as the generalizing
concept and outlook of the life of population, the indicator of socioterritorial
development. For the first time the influence of conditions and
factors that form the life style of population, as well as territorial
distinctive features of the basic components that constitute the way of
thinking, were analyzed. As a result of the research, forms of adapting of
the population’ s behavior in time and space, tendencies and directions
of development of the socio-territorial components were identified; the
principal components of the population’ s life on the basis of the synthesis
of the official information and information collected by means of
questionnaires, were typologies. The were figured out the backward
elements, problematic referring to the life of population. Suggestions
concerning overcoming them were offered, us well as recommendations
for modernization of Moldova society through life style.
