Summary

The thesis consist of: introduction, 5 chapters, conclusions and recommendations, 195 bibliographical sources, 16 annexes, total volume of 116 pages, containing 82 figures, 41 tables of data. The obtained results were published in 16 scientific papers.

Research target and objectives is establishing the biological peculiarities of growing and development of decorative woody plants in containerized culture, and elaborating the technology;

Objectives: exploring, identifying and assessing the modern propagation methods, generative method of propagation and fortification of Abies nordmanniana (Stev.) Spach. species in containers, substrates, administered norms of fertilizers, accessibility of nutritive ions, resistance, and conservation modes of decorative woody plants in containerized culture.

Scientific innovation and originality of the research: For the first time was carried out a comprehensive approach of biology growing and development’s decorative woody plants in containerized culture. Species and cultivars of decorative woody plants in containerized conditions were tested; established optimal phenological period of removing cuttings for vegetative multiplication; applied modern methods of propagation; assessed the influence of fertilizer Osmocote Plus with slow releasing action on the rhythm’s growing and development; studded the accessibility of nutritive ions; proposed types of plant conservation.

Theoretical significance. New data of biology growing and development’s decorative woody plants in containerized culture was obtained. Methods of multiplication, substrates, administered norms of fertilizers, accessibility of nutritive ions, resistance, and conservation modes of decorative woody plants in containerized culture were evaluated.

Applicative value of the research: Material of the thesis were finished off “Recommendation scientific and practical of containerized culture’s decorative woody plants in climatic conditions of Republic Moldova”, useful for researching, education, state and private units of production.

Scientific results implementation. The results of investigations were finished off realizing technology transfer project, Contract no. 115T: “Implementation innovational technology of producing decorative seedlings in containerized culture”, of strategic direction: Diversification of human resources, natural and informational for durable development of economy’s country.
