Structure of the thesis: introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography 86 of sources, 11 annexes, 127 of pages of basic text, 19 of figures, 25 of formulas and 18 tables. Results obtained have been published in 9 scientific papers during the period of 2008-2011.

Field of study: land relations, land market.

Purpose and objectives of the paper: The main purpose of the work is improving already existing relations and mechanisms of land market functioning, as well as elaboration of new economic, financial and legal instruments for this market. Land and farm consolidation through applying market mechanisms and instruments. Scientific argumentation of provenience sources, as well as of calculation methods of the agricultural land value and market price. Consolidation of the state role on the land market.

Novelty and scientific originality: Land market of the Republic of Moldova is at the very beginning of its first decade of activity in its ample and completely legal variant. Deep and holistic studies on this market in this period have not been yet effectuated. Scientific originality of this work is constituted by: modern approach of the land rental problem; elaboration of the methodology and new methods of calculation of the market price; specification of the state role on the land market; elaboration of new mechanisms and instruments of consolidation of the agricultural land and farms; evaluation of investment risks on the land market; elaboration of a project of law concerning the lifelong agricultural rent.

Theoretical significance: Elucidation of the essence of categories of value and market price of the agricultural land, as well as the economical essence of the absolute and differentiate rent. Improving the organizational framework and existing legal basis of the land market. Elaboration of the methodology and on its base of the new calculus methods of the agricultural land market prices.

An important scientific problem of the land market have been solved: the development of modern mechanisms and methods in the field of land relations’ management has tackled the problem of the efficient and sustainable operation of the land market, considering the gradual removal of unjustified differences between the economic value and market price of agricultural land.

Applicative value of the work is constituted by elaboration of the system of evaluation and monitoring indicators for land market transactions, elaboration of the forecast for modification of the main indicators concerning the agricultural land market circuit, specification of agricultural land ways of consolidation and of the state role on the land market.

Implementation of the scientific results: several recommendations, elaborated in this thesis, have been accepted for implementation in the activity of the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre and by of a company that deals with evaluation of the real estate.
