Summary

Structure of the thesis: The work is presented on 110 pages and it includes an introduction, 3 chapters, the results synopsis, general conclusions and practical recommendations, a bibliography consisting of 226 sources, 4 annexes, 51 figures and 20 tables. The results obtained are published in 17 scientific works and 1 invention patent. sechele cicatriciale, redoare postcombustională, excizia cicatricilor.

Domain of the research: The research includes a lot consisting of 286 patients with post-burn sequelae in the locomotor system, undergoing various plastic surgery methods in the Clinical Hospital of Traumatology and Orthopaedics.

Aim: A complex therapeutic approach has been elaborated in cases of controlled dermal extension in order to prevent post-surgery complications. The aim of the research was to analyse and compare the results of post-burn surgical treatment depending on the scars localization and method applied.

Novelty and scientific originality: The study of the clinical manifestations of the post-combustion cicatrix in the locomotor system and of the efficiency of the surgical treatment depending on the scar localization was done in premiere in the Republic of Moldova. It is for the first time that the expanded tissues were exposed to additional polarized polychromatic incoherent light treatment, with histological and electronic microscopic research applied during the treatment.

The problem discussed in the thesis is the appreciation of the applicability of the surgical treatment of post-burn scars depending on the localization and the degree of manifestation as well as the benefit of complimentary phototherapy and its impact on the quality of the tissues expanded.

Theoretical significance: The research brought sufficient supportive arguments and confirmations of the practical efficiency of the polarized polychromatic incoherent light therapy in comparison with traditional approach.

The value of the research and the implementation of the scientific results: Different principles of the surgical treatment were implemented in the practical activity thorough various plastic methods.
