Dissertation aim: Optimal-effective complex treatment of mandible osteomyelitis of traumatic origin, with the usage of different treatment methods, depending on clinical situation.

Dissertation objects: Examination of frequency and character of appearance of posttraumatic mandible osteomyelitis on the Department of oral-maxilo-facial surgery of National Center of Emergency Medicine definition of effective usage of different methods in the complex treatment of patients with the osteomyelitis of mandible of traumatic origin.

Scientific novelty and originality:It was studied the frequency and character of appearance of posttraumatic mandible osteomyelitis on the Department of oral-maxilo-facial surgery of National Center of Emergency Medicine; it was defiened the effectiveness of usage of different patient complex treatment methods with the posttraumatic mandible ostemyelitis.

Solved scientific mission: It is determined the ordered criteria complex of patients eligibility with posttraumatic maxilla osteomyelitis for the different methods of surgical intervention. It was elaborated the scheme of optimal methods of treatment depending on individual clinical picture.

Theoretical value: definition of pathogenic microflora in the inflammation focus and sensitivity of pathogenic microorganism with the recommendation of usage of optimal antibiotic in the complex treatment of posttraumatic mandible osteomyelitis.

Practical relevance of dissertation: the method of osteosinthesis of mandible by titanic reconstructive plates allows to match and to hold bone fragmentsin the right position, even in the case of presence of big bony defects, without the usage of classical extraoral device.

Implementation of scientific results: Research results, and namely, the usage of reconstrucrive titanic plates in the surgical treatment of the posttraumatic ostemyelitis ,were implemented in the clinical practic on the Department of oral-maxilo-facial surgery of National Center of Emergency Medicine.
