PhD thesis is exposed on 106 pages basic text, being composed of: introduction, 4 chapters, general conclusions, recommendations and bibliography (200 of sources). Material includes 38 charts, 26 figures, 2 annexes, the results being published in 8 scientific works.
Field of study: agriculture, growth of swine, 421.03.
The purpose of this paper: is to study the effectiveness of using boars and to identify the most productive breed combinations for obtaining hybrids with capabilities of formation of qualitative carcasses and meat.
The main objectives of the work: comparative appreciation of reproductive capacities of Yorkshire breed sows combined with boars of Landrace, Hampshire, Pietrain and birasiali Landrace x Pietrain breeds; studying biological material by determining the speed of growth and fattening capacity; evaluation of carcasses quality, morphological structure and appreciation of meat production of young swine according to European Union regulations; determining the economic efficiency of research results.
Newness and scientific originality: consist in the fact that for the first time in the Republic of Moldova conditions, have been experimenting new combinations of breeds for producing competitive hybrids by using as maternal form of the Yorkshire breed and as paternal form of Landrace, Hampshire, Pietrain and birasiali Landrace X Pietrain boars.
Solved important scientific problem in the growth of swine consist in hybridise argument and youth growing capabilities on swine with an increased production of meat with higher nutritional qualities obtained by using boars of paternal breeds.
The theoretical significance of the work. The work reflects generally, new results of the process of increasing of hybrids and obtaining competitive meat of porcines during the postembryonic development.
The applicative value of the work is to determine the combinative capabilities and identifying the most productive combination of genotypes, whereby were obtained performing hybrids of swine capable for the production of carcasses and competitive meat.
The implementation of scientific results. Scientific research results obtained were used to elaborate the following documents and materials: Recommendations for increasing of meat production through rational use of hybridization methods in growth of suina, Chisinau, 2014; Scheme for obtaining of hybrids into the breeding unity, growth and fattening of porcines "Vergecom" Ltd., Hancesti town, Republic of Moldova, 2012.
