Summary

Has passed more than ten years since Moldova has followed the road of democratization of public relations and reforming of economy. Though today our country has come nearer to traditional values of democracy, results of reforms, especially economic, are modest enough. One of the narrowest and complex places in carried out economic reforms remains their social orientation. The market economy demands essentially new approach at the decision of social problems, including pension. And from on how many adequately these problems will are solved, in view of demographic, social, the economic forces influencing pension system, well-being, quality and a standard of living of the pensioner depends. For last 10 years the provision of pensions began to represent payment of small sums of money to a plenty of people. Reform of pension system which has been carried out in 1998, was reduced to increase in age of an exit at pension and the experience of work, and also has changed rules of its assignment. Such approach, no doubt, could not improve a situation essentially.

In the first chapter fundamental definitions of pension system are shown and opened. The special attention is given to revealing of features of various pension models. The methodology of research of pension systems has been opened in a context of its practical use. Besides are in details analysed statistical, econometric models, technics of research of pension systems.cond chapter the brief characteristic of a modern social and economic condition in Republic Moldova is given.

The third chapter contains the analysis of developed national pension system, a retrospective show of development of system of a provision of pensions in Moldova, generalization of theoretical economic and legal bases of development of a provision of pensions.

The fourth chapter contains an estimation of systems of a provision of pensions in the states with well advanced economy, and also in the countries with transitive economy from command to market; generalization and the analysis of practical experience of introduction and development of system of a provision of pensions at a level of Republic Moldova, with development of practical recommendations on development of possible circuits of introduction of various models of a provision of pensions; and also revealing of modern lines and problems of development of a provision of pensions and development of possible ways of the decision of most actual of them. In work are offered new model of pension system for Republic Moldova which takes into account its features; new structure of its management and principles of assignment and financing of the pension income.

Offers on scope by pension insurance of the persons migrating in searches of work abroad, making third of number of able-bodied population are brought also.
