Summary

In thesis are represented the results of phonoionoforetic application in investigations of chronical endodontic apical periodontitis treatment with local BioR substance.

The clinical, paraclinical researches have been effectuated on 150 teeth (97 teeth with 1 root) and (53 teeth with more roots) of 119 pacients with ages included between 16-59 years. The reference group treated with NaOCl, represented 60 teeth of 32 pacients.

Monitoring of biochemical radiophiziografycal parametrics over 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 months of BioR therapy has certificated the total regeneration of harmed boney zones after a month of therapeutic evidence, in 25% of cases (control batches – 5%). After 6 months of evidence BioR presented 89 % of total regenerating cases, NaOCl solution of 2, 5 % (control batches) – 35%. After 1 year of post-therapeutic BioR monitorization represented 100% cases of harmed focuses disappearance (NaOCl – 58 %).

BioR represented itself as a biocompatible solution (0,5 %) to the host tissue, showing major effects ( by 2-4 times better ) and mechanic protection inducing humoral-celular (in the period of 4 years of evidence there hasn’t been recorded any recidives cases ).
