Summary

Structure of the thesis: introduction, 3 chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, 4 annex, bibliography of 197 titles, 148 pages of basic text. The results obtained are published in 15 scientific papers.

Field of study. Scientific researches are included in the complex field of special criminology, the segment of criminological analysis of the offense committed in the group being attentively analyzed.

Purpose and objectives of the paper. The purpose of the scientific research is to investigate from a criminological point of view, the offenses of great violence committed in groups, as a sub generic system of crimes related to the generic categories of offenses of violence and offenses committed in groups, providing the possibility of performing effective prevention and combating activities of this sub generic group of offenses. Objectives of the paper: a complex analysis of criminological investigations in the crime domain, especially criminality of violence (serious crime) and group criminality (serious crime committed in a group), elaborated and published in Republic of Moldova and other countries; analysis of criminal-law regulations that highlight the institution of criminal violence and the launching of ideas for unification of this use; criminological analysis of the concept of violence; research and conceptualization of the criminological category of criminality of great violence committed in the group; identifying the structure and dynamics of violent crime in the Republic of Moldova, also referring to the crime scene of the great violence committed in the group in the overall structure of crime as well as the structure of the crime of violence; criminological investigation of group violence offenses, starting from the correlation between the interconnections of crime and violence with group criminality; criminological investigation of the criminality factors of great violence committed in the group; selecting the necessary conclusions to make the fight against criminality of high violence committed in the group more efficient and to make recommendations in this regard.

The scientific novelty and the originality of the obtained results was outlined through scientific results focused on: the scientific results obtained by the monographic research carried out consist of: defining the notion of violence; clarifying the context of criminal violence and non-criminal violence; conceptual clarification of the delimitation between simple violence and great violence, violence and instrumental violence, physical violence and mental violence, etc. .; the definition of the offense of violence, the offense of great violence and the offense of major group violence; identification of normative boundaries and offenses incident to those of great violence; research into the conditional factors of large group violence; shaping some directions of the activity of preventing and combating the crimes of great violence committed in the group.

The important scientific problem solved lies in the elaboration of the criminological concept of the crimes of great violence committed in the group by defining and classifying them, identifying the defining traits, which contributes to the efficiency of the fight with such a complex sub general group of crimes, including criminal law.

The theoretical significance consists in the analysis of opinions of some scientific value presented in the native and foreign literature on the phenomenon of crime as a whole, followed by research from general to particular and following the purpose of criminological evaluation of the crimes of great violence committed in a group of persons. The monograph study in the form of a PhD thesis represents a fundamental scientific research with immanent possibilities to practice the conclusions and recommendations formulated.

The applicative value results from the possible use of the scientific results: - in the teaching activity of the Criminology course in the higher education institutions of the Republic of Moldova; - in the activity of the law bodies, outlining the premises of the uniformity of the use of the notion of violence in its different conceptual connotations; - in the activity of amending the criminal legislation, some modifications being made to CPM, which highlight different forms of manifestation of criminal violence.

Implementation of scientific results. The conclusions and recommendations of the scientific investigations carried out have been reflected in 15 published scientific papers, including participation in several international scientific-practical conferences
