Summary

Field of study: pragmatics, stylistics, sociolinguistics, Romanian linguistics.

Purpose of research: to analyze and to define the concept of spoken language in the course of modern language evolution and to reveal the multiple aspects of substandard spoken language in journalistic text.

Research Objectives: to define the concept of spoken language through the historical evolution of language; to reveal new aspects in the definition and the use of spoken language in the context of revolutionary technological developments; to highlight the current configuration of spoken language and characteristics of spoken language in Bessarabia, to reveal the functions of spoken language in journalistic text, etc.

Scientific noveltyof the research consists in: substantial and multidimensional analysis of the modern aspects of spoken language and its implicit expressiveness; discovering new trends in its use; and to make pragmatic and stylistic comments on multiple lexical elements, forms and specific structures of spoken language in journalistic text. New scientific and practical results.

The research is a synthesis of spoken language analysis from different perspectives, of language and stylistic stratification, the substandard spoken language, Bessarabian spoken language, dynamics of current vocabulary, as well as from the perspective of the modern concept of spoken language due to new conditions of our civilization development.

Theoretical significance of the researchlies in multidimensional analysis of the concept of spoken language, opposite/correlative and language/speech aspects, the expressiveness of spoken language, description of modern spoken language concept, including digital spoken language, stylistic configuration of spoken language, Bessarabian spoken language, as well as the correlation between spoken language and the modern journalistic text.

Practical significance of the research. Our research results can be used for many purposes such as: the elaboration of studies on the development of spoken language, stylistic stratification; the development of courses on the spoken language from the point of view of its functioning and the impact on recipients for the Philology and Journalism Departments, the delimitation and study of journalistic style and the presence of spoken language in various types of journalistic texts.

Implementation of scientific results. The results are used at the courses taught at MSU, Romanian Philology Faculty, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
