Summary

The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the issue of new paradigm of political thought formation within the shaping historical conditions of world development after the end of the cold war period.

In the first chapter “Political thought as a reflection of world development real problems” diverse interpretations of political thought notion are considered. It also mirrors the author’s definition of this category. The main positions of political-ideological confrontation during the cold war period are revealed; historical premises and the necessity of political thought paradigm change are discovered, tied with the past and the current changes at the end of the XX-XXI centuries.

The second chapter “Aggravation of contemporary global problems and increasing necessity to form new paradigm of political thought” deals with the analysis of the complication process of contemporary global problems and research of contradictory process of new world order establishment within the conditions of globalization; correlation of new paradigm of political thought and principles of humanism during the solution of modern collisions is revealed.

The third chapter “Subjects of new political thought formation within historical conditions” is dedicated to illustrate the process of institutionalization of political thought in interdependent world; trace the development of political thought within specific conditions of the Republic of Moldova; examine the issues of political education perfection within the context of changing realia of world politics.
