The present thesis is dedicated to the study on the theoretic and applicative aspects of the career in management, as a process, which can be planning, developed and managed from the position of the individual. The research is finishing with the range of recommendations which are oriented to the improvement of the management of the firm and planning managerial career.
Thesis is approaching the concept of the professional career and defining, in particular, notion of the managerial career. In the context of the leadership styles and roles of the management, has been analysed different types of the managerial career and characterized the steps in the career of the managerial staff.
In accordance, with established aims had been analyzes technological, functional, and socio-cultural factors with the impact on the managerial career. Presented interest, analyze of the potential problems of the families with the sustainable career and of the factors of the regress of the career. In the thesis has been specified the conflict situations, the principal types of the conflict and the motivation of the appearance of the conflict in the managerial career, in the same framework with the top management solutions of them.
Thus, the process of planning of the organizational career and individual of the manager is consisting five phases: evaluation, analyze of the possibilities, choosing of the careers` objectives, realization of the plans, evaluation of the results and correction of the plans.
One of the main factors in the developing of the career is the circulation of the managerial personnel and intern-extern consulting services which are oriented to the young managers.
The contents of the thesis is completed through elaboration and implementation of the questionnaire on the level of the firm, in the framework of which has been evaluated managerial career, though prism of the contents, objectives, limits and barriers in the career, the role of the family, the criteria of the evaluation of the career, etc.
The conclusions and recommendations have conceptual, methodological and applicative character and can be used in the careers` planning, in particular, by the individual persons, and in the improving of the management of the firms, being applying in the university teaching process in the Cycle I (Bachelor), Cycle II (Master) and Cycle III (Doctor) with economic and juridical specialization.
