The object of this work consists in quality assessment and the improvement of stomatological services performed in the urban private medical institutions.
It has been studied the organizational and functional structure of stomatological institutions of different forms of propriety from Chisinau city. The results of their activities depend on the management efficacy and the variety and quality of the rende-red stomatological services. It has been researched the possibilities and priorities of economic management, technical-material provision of private stomatological structures, the quality and level of stomatological services.
It also has been analyzed the role of private stomatological structures in health system, the main models of organization of private clinics, qualification of the doctors, supplying the technical-material base and work conditions. It has been investigated normative documents, which are pointed to the control performed by the state of private stomatological institutions, medical paperwork, paperwork’s reporting, methods of mutual collaboration, different possibilities of pay of stomatological services, and their financing. The activity of private enterprises depends of their supplying with equipment, instrumentation, materials and reserve of medical stuff.
Through a sample of 850 patients, it have been studied the level, morbidity structure and the necessity of stomatological assistance in the urban private medical institutions. The obtained data have shown veridical differences versus age and sex of the level and structure of stomatological morbidity of urban population.
Through a sample of 1074 patients, it have been established that 81% of urban population appreciates the activity of private stomatological structures in rendering stomatological services. This is the successes surety in their ulterior activity.
In general, the results of investigation show that the urban private stomatological services, with their pecularities, acts as an unitary and effective system with deter-mined priorities of its activity. The private stomatological structures, created and developed due to off-budget funds, have became a perspective form of organization of stomatological services, which are rendered to the population of the Republic of Moldova.
