Summary

This paper reflects the process of creation and introduction to pedagogical practice of the republic of the domestic school piano repertoire and reveals its importance for music culture of Moldova over the last 60 years (1946-2006). This work mirrors the contribution of different Moldovan composers in creating the repertoire for pianoforte and comprises the most significant published pianoforte collections of the modern Moldovan authors. It is for the first time when the categorization of the domestic pianoforte repertoire is offered, its main typological characteristics are considered, there are pinpointed to the gaps in its composition. Executed text analysis of some music publications has revealed the imperfection of the editorial nature and tireless use of this music material both in artistic activity and school practice.

The determination of the place and importance of national didactic pianoforte repertoire in the general culture of the Republic Moldova, building the broad history panorama of the creation and introduction in pedagogical process of the region, the national pianoforte music is a topic, which was not developed before. The paper establishes the influence upon performing of Moldovan pianoforte miniatures of specific folklore, traditions and particularities of the author's style of the most popular domestic composers, as well as the experience of the leading teacher-piano player of the republic - professor L.Vaverco - on use of the domestic pianoforte repertoire in school process in the Republic of Moldova. The work comprises about 20 repertory pianoforte miniatures of the Moldovan composers (A.Starcea, S.Lungul, V.Zagorschi, Gh.Neaga, Z.Tkaci, S.Lobel, A.Mulear, V.Rotaru, O.Negruta, Gh.Ciobanu and others.)

The author designed methodical materials, aimed to increase the efficiency of the school process, promoting enrichment of the pedagogical repertoire not only by new, recently created productions of Moldovan composers, but also valuable ones, with artistic and didactic viewpoint of the works of the representatives of the senior generation. As a result of the study there are formed additional repertory’s lists of pianoforte miniatures of the Moldovan authors for CMS, music lyceums (colleges) and faculties of music of country’s universities, as well as alphabetical, chronological and systematical index to music bibliography and discography of pianoforte works of composers from the Republic of Moldova (1946-2006).
