Summary

The thesis emphasizes the research of the globalization impact on corporate management, the study of diverse and controversial precepts with reference to corporations, corporate management and globalization. The author defines the system of international corporate management within the global economy, as a set of elements of decisional, organization, information, institutional character, etc. throughout which a set of processes and relations, with the purpose of obtaining some performances, is exercised. The author presents his view on the modifications that take place in the international foreign environment, in the corporate management system. As a result of general economic development the thesis studies some of the fusions in modern corporate management.

The following percepts like: corporate management, international company, transnational company, corporate management system, oil industry, oil companies, distribution channel, the premises of establishing international companies, fusions, purchases, voluntary code of corporate governance, integration models for European countries, administration mechanisms of investment resources, investment resources, financing methods, cooperation, co-participation, „IpFranCo” contract model are studied in the thesis.

The study pays attention to the methodology used in the analysis of oil products market in Romania, mentioning the importance of this market segment which is attractive to international oil companies. A comparative analysis of recent world tendencies in oil industry and the market of various oil companies that run in Romania is also made. Taking into consideration the changes in the corporate management of oil companies, the study also underlines the formation and administration mechanisms of investment resources. As a purpose, there were suggested and analyzed three financing methods: aggressive financing method, moderate financing method and conservative financing method.

The basic content and the results of the investigation were presented at international economic conferences and analyzed within the framework of companies from Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The results of the research are of theoretical, conceptual, methodological and applicative nature and can be used in the elaboration of a cooperation system in different sectors of national economy. The author elaborated an „IpFranCo” contract model on the basis of Romanian legislation which can be used by oil companies as well as other companies, representing various sectors of national economies, including the Republic of Moldova.

At the same time these results can be used in the didactic process of High School Education, for university and master degree courses.
