Summary

The obtained results are reflected in one published work and 29 scientific studies.

The Structure of the dissertation: an introduction, three chapters, conclusion and recommendations, bibliography of 212 titles, … pages.

Field of study: theory of literature and dialogistics of the text.

Aim and objectives: synthesis of theoretical literature written by M. Bakhtin on a larger background of re-assessment as a result of acquisitions of knowledge and contemporary theories of the main notions and concepts of dialogic paradigm, synoptical presentation of scientific concerns and achievements connected with the dialogue, dialogism as a new type of reflection and primary dialogics of human cognition, offered by some scientific workers – philosophers, aestheticians, linguists, hermeneutists and anthropologists; description of the new form of the novel, perceived as a dialogue, thin, versatile and protean, structured multiformly and polyphonically, open to varieties of social languages; crystallisation of the main categories, concepts and strategies of analysis of the polyphonic novel; identification of dialogic structures in the modernist and post-modernist Romanian novel of the 20th century.

Methodology of scientific research: theory of the text, hermeneutica, dialogistics, poetics, naratology, stylistics, sociology, comparativism, etc.

Scientific novelty and originality of the investigation results in the fact that the former is perceived as the first attempt in which the bakhtinian dialogism is applied creatively to the study of the Romanian novel. The dialogic theory will be only a pretext for a poetic multispectral analysis of the multitude and variety of aesthetic relations author-narrator-hero-reader, on one hand, and of the relation I-world, on the other hand, relations which have conditioned the architectonics of the Romanian novel of the 20th century.

Theoretical meaning and applied value of the research results in the effort to put into circulation a pattern of interpretation of the novel, a pattern adequate to the horizon of contemporary expectations. From the angle of the offered pattern the poetics is revealed as an attempt of dialogic understanding and analysis of the novel.

Implementation of scientific results. The results of the research are of great importance in the theoretical and practical meanings, serving as a basis for new investigations of the chosen topic. They can be the background for some university courses at the level of university and master studies. The proposed analitical pattern could be also applied in larger fields of literature.
