Summary

The Thesis includes: introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, bibliography from 142 names, 32 appendices, 112 pages of basic text, 12 figures, 31 tables. The obtained results were published in 12 articles.

Domain of study. In the thesis the models and financing sources for dwelling were described from theoretical point of view; financing opportunities and financing sources for dwelling from the Republic of Moldova were analyzed and measures for the improvement of financing sources’ management in dwelling were suggested.

Objective of the thesis. The objective of the research concerns the analysis of the financing sourses for the dwelling from the Republic of Moldova and suggestion of concrete improvement measures for financing sources’ management in dwelling.

Scientifical novation and originality. In the thesis financing sources’ management in dwelling from the Republic of Moldova was evaluated through the existent models from the world practice; measures of macroeconomic level for the situations’ improvement in dwelling were suggested; the multisectorial strategy for dwelling was developed; the model of saving and credit association for the financing of dwelling was developed and argued from the economic point of view; new financing schemes regarding the improvement of financing sources’ management in dwelling were recommended and argued from the economic point of view.

Theoretical significance. Theoretical significance of the thesis concern in critical analysis of models and financing sources applied in dwelling, largely developed in the world practice.

Applicative value of the thesis. Practical recommendations, presented in the dissertation, can be applied for the implementation of measures at the macroeconomic level to improve the situation in dwelling; examination of opportunities to apply the new financing models in dwelling; launch of activity of saving and credit associations for the financing of dwelling; introduction of new mortgage financing schemes for dwelling to increase the access to them from the population.

Implementation of scientific results. Measures and recommendations suggested in the thesis were approved by the Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions and AMIC.
