Thesis structure: introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography, 144 pages of the basic text, 34 tables, 24 figures, 9 annexes, annotation (in Romanian, Russian and English).
The obtained results are published in 11scientific works: 1 methodological guide, 8 articles in specialized journals, (5 articles in national journals and 3 papers at international conferences).
The field of the research: Theory and Methodology of Instruction (the English language).
The goal of the research is to determine the technologies in the communicative teaching of the English PUs in higher education. The research objectives: to study the history and theory of the communicative technologies in teaching the English PUs; to identify the psycholinguistic and psycho-pedagogical determinations of the PUs communicative approach in teaching the English language; to systematize the communicative technologies in teaching the English PUs; to establish the characteristics and the levels of the students’ phraseological vocabulary development; to identify the communicative values of the English PUs from the perspective of the communicative competence; to elaborate, to test, and to validate the communicative technologies in teaching the English phraseological units Model in higher education; to interpret the research statistical data.
Scientific originality and novelty of the research is externalized in the reconsideration of the significance of the phraseological unit and phraseological parlance concept; redefining the concept of the communicative technologies in teaching the English PUs and the English communicative competence; establishing the indicators of the efficiency of the communicative technologies in teaching the English PUs in higher education. The modernization of the English language didactics in higher education through the integration of the communicative technologies in teaching the English language involving the definiteness of the new evaluation criteria of the students’communicative competence from the point of vew of using the english phraseological units constitutes the scientific problem solved in this research.
Theoretical significance is justified by the elucidation of the scientific arguments regarding the importance of teaching the English phraseological vocabulary at the university level; the evolution of the communicative technologies concept; the determination and the sistematization of the communicative technologies in teaching the English PUs in relation to their efficiency indicators; the identification of the evaluation criteria of the English communicative competence from the point of view of using the English PUs.
Praxiological value of the research consists in the elaboration and validation of of the communicative technologies in teaching the English phraseological units Model, valid for the pre-university level too.
Implementation of the scientific results: have been approved in conferences; have been tested in the academic institutions from the Republic of Moldova, between the years 2007-2010.
