Summary

Structure of the thesis consists of three chapters, preceded and succeeded by introducing general conclusions and proposals, 44 figures, 12 tables, it includesof the 136 pages of the main text, 236 bibliographic sources and 6 appendices. Results of the investigation are published in 20 scientific papers, of which 6 with coauthors.

The field of study is International cooperation between Romania and other countries of the European Union in the field of labour migration; the problems on labor migration and its consequences on the national economy; strategies, mechanisms and employment policies employment and combat unemployment; issues new European model of the labor market.

The purpose and hhe objectives of the paper lies in the analysis of theoretical and practical research labor migration nationally and also in the Republic of Moldova and other countries of the European Union and also in identifying relevant proposals on the improvement and streamlining of policies and strategies to strengthen labor migration process. The objectives of this paper is to examine the current situation in Romania, Moldova and of the European Union Member States; determination of the directions of migration and international flows of labor; determinants of labor migration; research trends and characteristics of Romanian labor movement; research scope of the legislation and policies of labor migration, both at national and European level; identifying strategies to strengthen the process of labor migration in the EU.

Scientific novelty of the work. The issue of how to live the Romanian population, impact of economic recession on its low standard of living, lack of jobs - the primary reason for determining labor migration to EU countries - was far too extensive researched so that when Currently, this research presents a new element. In general, the work consists of scientific innovation: developing and specifying the content of the concept "labor migration" and its place in politics while Romania and the European Union; through application of economic-mathematical methods are determined factors and conditions that generate labor migration to other states; identifying forms of adaptive spatial behavior, examining trends and directions of development of socio -territorial component; recommendations proposed in order to overcome the problems, deficiencies, retrograde elements related to people's lives; argument enforcement policies and strategies employment in Romania and other EU countries.

Important scientific problem addressed is to determine the impact it had accession to the European Union in terms of labor migration and also our country's cooperation with other member states of the European Union in this field, which in recent years has seen a improvement.

Theoretical significance and value of the work. Value of the work is to obtain theoretical and empirical knowledge about the issue of migration and cooperation between Romania and the European Union across from this. The research, proposals and conclusions made can be used by some state institutions such as the Ministry of Interior, IOM, OECD, the economic units in the country, also training institutions etc.

Value of the thesis is determined by the possibility of using elaborate proposals that aim to identify strategies to strengthen the process of labor migration; substantial improvement in the relations of cooperation between Member States of the European Union in the field of labor migration; promoting policies and strategies to support the existing workforce currently in the labor market both in Romania and Republic of Moldova and the European Union. The conclusions and recommendations of the author containing concrete proposals on how better management of labor migration.

Implementation of scientific results. The results are reflected in the sekfeupiâh of some government agencies directly involved in monitoring and supporting labour migration, some of the agencies that rated the importance of the contributions of the author's recommendations. Some of the ideas and recommendations contained in the thesis have been implemented in the Municipality of Constanta, territorial Department of employment, labour, water Autonomous Agency Constanta, etc.
