Summary

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of the scientific and practical problems of perfecting road transport activity with the goal of increasing its efficiency, competition ability at foreign market, substantiating national ways of crossing road transport to the market relations.

According to this goal the analysis of modern social-economical condition of road transport and level of its development was made, management practice at the level transport enterprise and field, the legal base of reforming the relation of property in this sphere was investigated, the reserves were considered and basic directions of increasing efficiency of producing organization and directing by the development of enterprise were definited.

By the results of investigation the following recommendations were given.

The author suggested a conception of further development of the road transport enterprise and its organizing and legal forms, development of managment in international auto transport in the meaning of development of logistic system, of the external economic relations, perfecting its legal base according to the specific features of the enterprise activity of road transportation, property relations reconstruction demonopolization and competition development with the definiting and regulating role of the state in the passing period to the market in this important infrastructured sphere.

The theoretical positions and methodical recommendations maintaining in the dissertation can be used in activity of economic agents and also in teaching the course of Economy, of managment, of investigated branch.
