Summary

The doctoral thesis is dedicated to the methodological aspects of agricultural enterprises financial management in conditions of market economy, including the approach of contemporary financial problems, which the agricultural unities have to face, the identification of the key-element in the agricultural enterprises financial performance measuring, elaboration of recommendations concerning the financial mechanism improvement, which can contribute to the insurance of agricultural enterprises efficient activity.

High emphasis is placed on the image, indicators, analysis and method of financial “health” state of agricultural enterprises. The present work also focuses its attention on a series of factors, whose impact play a decisive role in the formation of the agricultural enterprises financial image; a number of measures have been drawn up, regarding the agricultural unities financial situation improvement.

The new elements brought forward by this theory favour the understanding of the agricultural enterprises financial phenomenon and reveal the financial manager responsibilities. Furthermore, the results of the research allow the agricultural enterprises to elaborate the financial mechanism in order to develop an efficient activity.
