The field of study of the thesis: Queueing theory

The aim of the research: Analyzing data from Constanta Seaport and applying that determine stationarity system. Thus, algorithms have been elaborated if the system is without priorities and in the case in which we analyze the traffic coefficient for queueing systems with priorities applied in seaport.

The scientific novelty and originality consist in the application of algorithms necessary to the evaluation of the traffic coefficient and their application in seaport activity. This can determine if the number of berths seaport is sufficient for the effectiveness of port system if the system is viable under certain distributions to be more efficient or have made changes and what should be improved.

The important scientific solved problem consist in streamline of information flow in seaport, analyzing the traffic coefficient, that shows us charging of seaport system.

The theoretical significance is determined by applying all the notions of queueing theory in seaport activity.

The applicative value of the thesis Have been proposed algorithms for the calculation of traffic coefficient, thus establishing the efficacy of Constanta seaport.

The implementation of the scientific resulta The result can serve for establishing efficiency of maritime traffic in the seaport of Constanta. The algorithms developed are made in the form of program using C++.
