Summary

The field of the study:public law: constitutional law.

The scope of the study is complexly research the collaboration of the Parliament, Government and Presidency in strengthening the governance regime of the Republic of Moldova through contemporary constitutionalism.

The thesis objectives: defining the concept of governance regime; reassessment of contemporary constitutionalism as a mean of exercising governance regime; determination and analysis of the typology of governance regime; identifying the role and relation between political institutions in contemporary constitutionalism; investigating constitutional reforms in Moldova on the governance regime; establish constitutional principles on strengthening the cooperation of Moldovan political institutions.

Novelty and scientific originality is based on the study of governance arrangements in the light of contemporary constitutionalism, highlighting ways to strengthen the work of the Parliament, Government and the presidential institution to operate a genuine semi-presidential governance regime.

Important scientific problem solved lies in the determination of the concept and the particularities regarding the governing regime and the identification of the effective mechanisms regarding the strengthening of its regime in the light of contemporary constitutionalism in the Republic of Moldova.

Theoretical significance of the thesis and its practical value lies in the results on researching the governance regime being favorable for the development of constitutional law science. The results can be useful as informative benchmarks for studies inducted in the field, but can also be used in teaching as theoretical and practical basis in constitutional law discipline. They will contribute to the development and deepening of theoretical knowledge in the field and lege ferenda proposals are meant to strengthen the governance regime in contemporary constitutionalism in Moldova.

Implementation of the scientific results. The results of scientific endeavor were presented at several international conferences and published in various journals, which contributed to enriching the theoretical framework on the national governance regime. Also, the general conclusions and lege ferenda proposals can be used to improve national legal framework, to develop explanatory ruling on the interpretation of the rules regulating the work of the Parliament, Government and Presidency.
