Structure of the thesis: introduction, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography consisting of 355 titles, 15 appendices, 153 pages of the basic text.
Object of examination: The history of the lyric theater.
Goal of the research: is the comprehensive investigation of the activity of the bessarabian artists from interwar period at the opera theaters in Cluj and Bucharest.
Оbjectives of the study: to highlight the similarities between the debut and the tradition of the lyrical theater in Romania and Bessarabia; highlighting the important factors that have led to the migration of Bessarabian artists to the works of Cluj and Bucharest; the discovery of the most representative Bessarabian artists present on the lyrical scenes of Cluj and Bucharest during the interwar period and systematization of the schools in which they were formed; detecting new documents and materials from the archives of the National Opera of Cluj and Bucharest; preparing the register with all the premieres from 1920–1940 at the operas in Cluj and Bucharest with the participation of the Bessarabian performers; research of the media from the interwar period on their activity at the aforementioned theaters; determining the impact of their presence on the two Romanian lyrical institutions of the interwar period.
Innovation and scientific originality of research. The study deals with bessarabian interpretative artistic phenomenon in the interwar romanian cultural life, with focus on the art of the lyrical theater. For the first time in the Republic of Moldova’s musicology were analyzed new aspects of the issue, such as the tradition and impact of the presence of the bessarabian singers at the lyrical state theaters from Cluj and Bucharest during 1920–1940.
Main resolved scientific problem The important scientific problem solved consists in the complex approach of the activity of Bessarabian artists in the interwar period at the Opera theaters in Cluj and Bucharest, which led to the objective assessment of the creative activity of these artists in order to determine their impact on the development of the Opera Theaters in Cluj and Bucharest, with the result of deepening the historical and theoretical knowledge about the evolution of the Bessarabian operistic phenomenon.
Theoretical importance. The theoretical significance of the study consists in enriching the theoretical bases, on the history of the artistic culture from the interwar period, both national and universal. The thesis presents documentary evidence capable of demonstrating the importance of the Bessarabian performers in the activity of the Opera Theaters in Cluj and Bucharest between 1920–1940. The thesis is a contribution to the study of the Bessarabian operatic phenomenon’s history.
Practical value of Thesis. The contents of this thesis can be used in practical way and as educational material for the courses of Dramaturgy of a opera theater, Opera Mastery, History of Vocal Art, History of Music, in the predegree, but also in the university musical educational institutions.
Implementation of scientific results. Research results were reflected in 9 scientific
publications (volume is 5 author’s sheets) and presented at 5 National and International
Conferences on this range of problems in Moldova and Romania.
