Thesis structure: introduction, three chapters, conclusions, 185 bibliographical titles, 6 annexes, 143 basic text pages, 18 figures, 69 tables. The results of the thesis are published in 11 scientific papers.
Field of study: Pedagogical Sciences. Didactics of computer science.
Research goal: consists in elaboration of the methodology of developing initial professional skills in informatics based on optimal correlation of mathematics and informatics contents.
Research objectives: (1) The scientific and methodological foundation of the process of correlating the disciplines of computer science and mathematics to the formation of future IT professionals; (2) Elaboration of the integrated pedagogical model of training and development of initial professional computer skills based on optimal correlation of mathematics and computer science disciplines; (3) Identification of the methodological reference points for the use of the model developed in the "Computer graphic" (4). Experimental validation of the efficiency of the developed model and methodology.
Novelty and originality of scientific work: was developed a model of trening the initial professional computer skills through the optimal correlation of mathematics and computer science courses through the "Computer-assisted graphics" course, whose curriculum was upgraded to achieve the research goal. Important scientific problem solved: lies in the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the process of efficiency of initial professional computer literacy training by optimally correlating the disciplines of informatics and mathematics.
The theoretical significance of research: consists in studying the impact of interdisciplinary links on the process of forming the initial professional skills in computer science of future computer scientists.
The practical value of the work: it results from the developed methodology and the possibility of its implementation in the university educational practice of training the initial professional competences in computer science through the optimal correlation of the mathematics and informatics courses.
Implementation of scientific results: the elaborated methodology is used in teaching the "Computer-assisted graphics" course.
