Summary

The work is exposed on 251 pages of basic text and includes: introduction, 5 chapters, conclusions, recommendations for production, bibliography of 366 sources, 40 annexes, 41 tables, 141 figures. Obtained results are published in more than 90 scientific works, 3 monographs, 2 gooseberries and raspberry technological recommendations. The aims of the paper: achieving the increase the gooseberry and raspberry productivity by selecting, evaluating, scientific argumentation and implementation of the most productive and qualitative from the biological point of view, economically efficient varieties and nutritive surfaces, which ensure a favourable structure of the plantations.

Objectives: studying the phenological, biometric, physiological, biochemical and economic indices to determine the adaptability, growth, development and fructification capacities that allowed for the complex assessment and classification of the varieties introduced for the usual and intensive gooseberry plantations, also the raspberry driven in bands to obtain the planned fruits production with precious nutritional qualities.

Novelty and scientific originality: for the first time, have been established the agro biological characteristics, which determines the increased productivity of the gooseberry and raspberries varieties in different pedo-climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova.

The scientific problem solved: the theoretical and practical argumentation of the cultivars of the gooseberry and raspberries studied varieties, the planting distances, their agro-economic appreciation, elaboration of recommendations for production.

The theoretical significance of the work: has been completed the scientific data bank on the assortment, scientifically based the technology of gooseberry and raspberry fruits production, taking into account the biological particularities of the varieties.

Application value of the paper: the practical implementation of the results of the research aimed at modernizing the gooseberry and raspberry cultivation technologies, scientifically and economically appreciated.

Implementation of scientific results: have been elaborated the technological recommendations for the establishment and maintenance of the gooseberries and raspberry plantations and implemented in production under the pedoclimatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova in the districts: Orhei, Ştefan Vodă, Nisporeni, Ialoveni, Râşcani etc.
