Summary

Field of the research: 651.02. Theory and history of architecture.

Purpose of the thesis: evaluat ion of the forming ident ity of the winery complexes of the Republic of Moldova in relation to their technological content and the opening of the complexes’ spaces to the public through the prism of the national traditions and of the universal practice of implementing new architectural strategies.

Objectives of the research: diachronic and synchronic highlight ing of the particularit ies of the architecture of the winery constructions that contributed to the creation of the winery image; conceptual approach of the phenomenon of the emergence of contemporary winery complexes; research of the most represent ative complexes characterized by conforming to the current requirements of identity development of architecture; establishing the particularities of formation of their architecture with highlighting the evolution stages in functionally different areas: technological and recreational; defining the main characteristics of the binomial: environment – winery complex; determining the specific principles constituting the architectural image of modern winery complexes.

The novelty and the scientific originality of the approach consists in the thorough invest igat ion of the specificity of the winery constructions in the present territory of the Republic of Moldova, with the prognosis of the optimal model of industrial evolution and architectural aspect of the winery companies in the country.

The important scientific problem solved lies in determining the impact between the social, economic, cultural environment and the architecture of the winery complexes during their evolution, which led to the elaboration of the concept of the new architecture and the establishment of the solutions regarding their current development.

The theoretical significance of the study consists in establishing the relat ion between the components of the industrial environment and the public one (expositional, accommodation, catering, recreation, treatment), in order to model optimal structures, resistant to the imminent evolution of the architecture, technique and production technologies.

The applicative value arises from the formulat ion of proposals to use the result s of the study in the elaboration of efficient architectural strategies regarding the sustainable development of the winery complexes. The study will also be useful as a didactic support for the university courses in the disciplines: Architectural design, History of architecture of Moldova, Typology of buildings and as a tourist information material.

Implementation of scientific results. The scient ific result s were implemented by publishing of 28 scient ific articles wit h a total volume of 10,2 author's sheets and contributions to 21 national and international scientific conferences from the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Belarus, focused on the concerned subject matter.
