Summary

ANNOTATION Veaceslav Reabcinschii. The National Cultural Policies in the context of the Association of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union. PhD Thesis in Sociology. Chisinau, 2021. Structure of the thesis: introduction, four chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 198 titles, 11 annexes, 150 pages of basic text (up to Bibliography), 16 figures, 13 tables. Keywords: cultural national policies, models of cultural policies, development of cultural policy, modernization of cultural policy, European Union, Republic of Moldova. Field of study: sociology. The aim of the research: to determine the priorities of the national cultural policy of the Republic of Moldova from the perspective of the Association Agreement with the European Union. The research objectives: historiographic analysis of cultural policy research; defining the basic concepts used in cultural policy research; determining the research methodology of national cultural policies; evaluating the legislative and institutional framework of EU cultural policy; examining the typology of national cultural policy models in EU countries; evaluation of the legislative and institutional framework of national cultural policies in the Republic of Moldova; defining the results of the implementation of national cultural policies; elaboration of practical recommendations in order to streamline national cultural policies in the context of the association of the Republic of Moldova with the EU. Scientific novelty and originality: the elaboration of the author's conception of the typology of establishing cultural policy models based on the diversity of the relations between the main subjects state - culture - society. The solved scientific problem consists in substantiating the cultural policy models based on the state-culture-society relations: emphatic, paternalistic, participatory, interventionist and entrepreneurial for the analysis of national cultural policies. The theoretical significance and application value are determined by the increasing the role of culture in the socio-economic and sustainable development of a society and the need to define effective and efficient national cultural policies. The innovative typology of cultural policy models developed in the research allows theorists and practitioners in the field to analyze culture as a component of societal transformations, as well as society's participation in cultural development. Implementation of scientific results: It is carried out within the project "Cultural House - Consolidation of Local Communities through Civic Partnership" in the localities of Mereni, Colibaşi, Bahrineşti, Harjauca, Gaidar, Durleşti, Rezina, where the participatory concept of activity of culture institutions was developed and applied. Separate research provisions were presented at nine international conferences and meetings in the cities of Kharkiv, Odessa, Lvov, Kiev (Ukraine), Vilnius (Lithuania), Chisinau (Moldova) and the 19 publications in a specialized national and international journals and collections. At the same time, research results can be used in the university course ""Cultural Policies" in Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts.
