Summary

Thesis structure: Introduction, annotations, three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography of 210 titles, 8 annexes; 138 pages of basic text, 21 figures and 37 tables. The research results have been published in 13 scientific papers.

The aim of the research: the theoretical and empirical validation of the premises likely to transform GROUP MOVIE THERAPY into an effective stress management level strategy for mothers of children with Neuromotor Disorders. The objectives of the research: profiling and interpreting the theoretical and conceptual aspects of stress in mothers of children with Neuromotor Disorders and the characteristics of „GROUP MOVIE THERAPY”; identifying the place of GROUP MOVIE THERAPY in the system of psychosocial intervention strategies; organizing and conducting a complex empirical study, focused on identifying the peculiarities of stress level in mothers of children with neuromotor disorders and mothers of children with typical development; implementation of the GROUP MOVIE THERAPY strategy in order to reduce the stress level in mothers of children with neuromotor disorders; elaboration of the necessary conclusions and recommendations.

Scientific novelty and originality: Design and implementation of a unique epistemic-empirical platform with reference to the possibility of stress management level in mothers of children with neuromotor disorders through GROUP MOVIE THERAPY. This paper is one of the first national psychosocial studies to provide a unified view of the principles, conditions and methods that make it possible to transform GROUP MOVIE THERAPY into an effective stress management level strategy for mothers of children with neuromotor disorders.

The result obtained that contributes to solving an important scientific problem consists in the solving of the important scientific issue of the interdisciplinarity of the concept of stress level, which led to the identification of the peculiarities of stress in mothers of children with neuromotor disorders, to the development of coping resources in managing their stress by applying GROUP MOVIE THERAPY strategy.

Theoretical significance: Development and implementation of a unitary epistemic-empirical equation with reference to the GROUP MOVIE THERAPY strategy and its role in stress management level in mothers of children with neuromotor disorders. The research results are part of the spectrum of basic objectives of contemporary psychosocial science, putting on the agenda a topical issue, offering an original solution.

Applied value: The use of research results in various fields: in research, contributing to the extension of the epistemological boundaries of the theory with reference to GROUP MOVIE THERAPY and to the diversification of its implementation strategies; in the family counseling activity carried out at different levels of intervention; when developing support programs for parents of children with disabilities, in order to develop positive parenting by stimulating coping resources, helping to prevent divorce, separation and child abandonment; in the context of the initial and continuous training of the specialists in the targeted field.

Implementation of scientific results: Development and implementation of a psychological intervention program in stress management, focused on GROUP MOVIE THERAPY; elaboration and publication of 13 articles in specialized journals, 12 communications and / or theses in the volumes of scientific meetings; creation of a film therapy room within the „Speranța” Center; development and implementation of support programs for families of children with disabilities; training for teachers and managers in general education in the Republic on inclusive education.
