The work contains the results of research of processes of thinking and problem-solving of medical students during the emergency situations.
The author has discovered the new oportunities of development and education of thinking by comparision the practical performance and the processes of making decisions of doctors, nurses and paramedics. He found out that the method of solving emergency situations problems of paramedics and nurses is based on an Algorithm. On the other hand student-dostors use a Heuristic plan to solve emergency situations problems.
Experimental research proved that the medical students have a more theoretical knowledge and choose a way “elaboration and verification hypothesis” in emergensy situations. They develop problem-solving strategies which are more suitable for handling the most medical situations. But this method doesn’t adequate in emergency situations.
Analysis indicate that the thinking in the emergency situations is depends on practical experience, on kind of knowledge, learning methods, and kind of clinical tasks during the medical studies. Modification of curriculum, including operational and context knowledge, principles of constructiviste pedagogy and interactive methodology will contribute to the development of effective thinking in the emergency situations.
The results of research present the arguments for inclusion the objectives regarding the development and education thinking in emergency situations in the curriculum for initial professional formation of medics
